The PR-15 RAGUN Pistol was developed on request from the Polish Army based on their dissatisfaction with the WIST-94 Pistol. The first prototypes of the PR-15 RAGUN appeared in 2014, and in 2018 it was officially adopted by the Polish Army. The contract for production was signed with the famous Polish small arms factory FABRYKA BRONI “ŁUCZNIK” – RADOM.

The trigger is of external hammer, double action type. The manual safety is ambidextrous, utilizing slide release levers. This pistol features fixed iron sights. Magazines are double stack, single feed, with 16-round capacity. Magazine release buttons are also ambidextrous. The gun frame is provided with an integral Picatinny rail below the barrel, used to mount various tactical accessories such as flashlights or laser aiming modules.
