6.5×54 M-S

The 6.5×54 Mannlicher-Schoenauer cartridge was developed circa 1900 in Auatria for use in military rifles, designed by Ferdinand fon Mannlicher at OWG Steyr factory. It was adopted by Greece as a standard issue rifle cartridge in 1903, along with M1903 Mannlicher-Schoenauer rifle. It also saw significant use as a hunting cartridge in Europe and Asia, mostly in highly popular civilian versions of Mannlicher-Schoenauer rifle.
